Twelve months ago we began an adventure to import fully restored original VW Kombi Split Window vans into Australia. It was our dream to escape the pressures of a busy life and hit the road and the beaches in a vintage Kombi. So we decided to start our own Kombi Van Project.

Our search for an Australian ’60s van that was a full restoration and did not cost $200,000 was unsuccessful. This is how our Kombi Van Project began and our first visit to Brazil. Read our story here.

After much research, we took the plunge and bought our first Kombi. Our 1961 Kombi split window van arrived for Christmas! To say we were excited was an understatement. We also have secured four more buses that are in various stages of restoration for importing into Australia during 2019. A ’61, ’63, ’66 & ’67. Our plan is to offer them for sale.
